Ruth Dancer receives British Showjumping Award 2023

On Tuesday 3rd October, Director of White Griffin, Ruth Dancer, received the British Showjumping Award 2023, in recognition for her work to raise the profile of environmental sustainability in equestrianism and supporting British Showjumping with their ongoing work in this area.

CEO Iain Graham said “this award is usually reserved for individuals known to British Showjumping for decades, however we wanted to honour Ruth Dancer in 2023 as we look forward to working with Ruth and White Griffin on putting the environment at the top of the agenda.”

“In 2024 we will be recognising individuals and businesses who show initiative and determination to make changes to their operations which support the environment”.

Receiving the award Ruth said “I am so humbled to receive this and it is testament to the hard work of Iain and his team in not only putting in place so many environmental practices at British Showjumping, but in wanting to recognise and raise the profile of this topic…..most people in this room got into showjumping because they love to ride in nature with their horse and environmental sustainability is about protecting that natural environment that we hold so dear.”
